[MPlayer-users] MPlayer filters control, changing aspect ratio in KMPlayer

1. MPlayer has such an impressive array of audio and
video filters. But, is there a GUI for these filters,
or any plans to make a GUI? The only way I can apply
them now is by typing something like this in the
terminal: gmplayer -vf noise=10t moviename.avi This
is quite annoying.

2. Also, is there a way to apply these filters WHILE
the movie is playing (either with a GUI or through
commands)? The only way I know how to apply filters is
to exit MPlayer and restart it with the filters
enabled.

3. Is there a way to change the aspect ratio of a
movie in KMPlayer (with MPlayer backend)? I'm talking
about changing the aspect ratio in fullscreen, since
in window mode it can be changed simply by stretching
the player window. Most other filters can be applied
to videos playing in KMPlayer by going to the Settings
menu, choosing 'configure KMPlayer', clicking on
'Genera Options' in the preferences window which pops
up, clicking on MPlayer tab, and entering the filters
you want in "Additional command line arguments". But
filters which change aspect ratio don't seem to work.
It's as if KMPlayer overrides any aspect ratio changes
made by MPlayer.

Thanks for any replies!
