Well, one way or the other, it'd be nice to get someone to look at it.
 I had to search the -dev-eng archives to get Michael's response to my
last thread, btw.  Since nobody said anything here, I just thought
it'd been forgotten.

So what can I do to help get this fixed?  Have you or Michael been
able to replicate the issue?  It's currently forcing me to use mp3lame
if I want valid files.  It's kind of a pain.
