I was reading some docs at
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/HTML/es/subosd.html and in fact I checked
on my debian if de freetype-dev was installed, but it wasn't even though
the binary was.

Now i am compiling and did'nt use the enable-freetype (normally it will
be autodetected).

Okay, end of compilation and installation.

checking configure.log:
Checking for freetype >= 2.0.9
...
freetype2  header version: 2.2.1  library version: 2.2.1
Result is: yes

So you are right, freetype-dev was missing and mplayer compiled whitout
    freetype.

Now I have my mplayer working completely.

Thank you very much for your Patience.
