[MPlayer-users] video size error

Hi,
I have a laptop with 16:9 monitor, when I play a movie with mplayer I 
see my videos with wrong sizes...If I play one 16:9 video mplayer 
stretch it horizontally (like 16:6 less or more) and 4:3 like 4:2.
With gmplayer I tried to change the aspect ratio but the movie restart 
with the same problem.
Is this a bug or I wrong in some way? If bug, there is a patch?
