[MPlayer-users] how to disable transparent subtitles?

Hello,

there is a *.vob that always shows transparent subtitles when playing, 
how can I get only opaque subtitles?

I've tried several things, especially the -ffactor and -sub-bg-alpha 
options, e.g:

mplayer -sid 6 -aid 129 -sub-bg-alpha 10 -ffactor 10 test.vob

mplayer -sid 6 -aid 129 -sub-bg-alpha 1 test.vob

No matter what I do, I get only transparent subtitles. Google hasn't 
helped much.

MPlayer is version 1.0rc2-4.2.1 using with openSUSE 10.3
