[MPlayer-users] MPlayer and RAM files

Hi, I've been trying to follow the guidelines in this article -

but I just can't Real files to work in MPlayer. I've even tried just
opening them in MPlayer (without any of the other fancy business!) and they
doggedly refuse to.

Are Real files no longer supported in MPlayer, or has the way that they are
supported changed?

I've got MPlayer working really well with Real files in Linux (Ubuntu) but
am struggling a bit in Mac!

(The aim of all this is to convert Real Audio files into MP3s so I can bung
them on my iPod)
