[MPlayer-users] create a dummy video device and send there the mplayer-mencoder output

Hi guys ,
I've one question:
Do you know how I can create a dummy video device like snd_dummy for 
audio , for send there the output of mplayer/mencoder and later take 
this with ffmpeg2theora?
For help you to undestand my strange question you can see splitcam for 
windows how it works.
It create a dummy video device that can be used for input or output from 
other programs

My second doubt it's the command for take file with mplayer and send it 
to a device.
