[MPlayer-users] No output from Logitech webcam

Hi list,

I have Logitech QuickaCam Express and I want to record the stream from it.
However, when I try to playback the stream with *mplayer  -tv
driver=v4l:width=352:height=288:device=/dev/video0  tv://   *I get a frame
or two of the steram and then the screen goes black. I'm on Ubuntu Gutsy.
Any ideas what is causing this?
