You can use exactly the same parameters for pass 1 and 2 (obviously
changing the vpass value from 1 to 2 in the second pass).

You could obatain better performance by encoding the audio only once
(in the first pass) and sending the output of the first pass to
/dev/null but it is not necesary.

May be a bug. I've seen this when using bitrates grater than 1000
(really when using bitrates much grater than the needed).
