[MPlayer-users] -noconsolecontrol and dumping audio stream

Hello,

i have hit something very strange. when dumping audio
to wav (-vo null -vc null -ao pcm:fast:file=/test.wav)
mplayer is usually very, very fast. But it reverts to
realtime if i use -noconsolecontrol or "-". Any ideas
why ?
