[MPlayer-users] Problem with encoding to DVD compliant mpeg2: turbo switch causes error

Hi,

I am trying to encode my MythTV recordings (from PVR150) to DVD
compliant mpeg2 files but the switch turbo causes a stream of
following messages

[mpeg2video @ 0x88c3a18]rc buffer underflow
[
which ends with following error

mpeg2video @ 0x88c3a18][lavc rc] Error: bitrate too low for this video
with these parameters.

If I remove turbo from the command line switches, then there is no problem.

mencoder version: dev-SVN-r21857-4.1.1
Linux: Fedora Core 6

The other options to lavcopts are (I am using mencoder profiles) :

Is turbo getting screwed by some other option I am using? I just kept
on adding options to this list as I experimented and these options
give me the best output (I mean I find it best)
