I normally compile rc-1 on centos 4. Works fine even with dvd.
I now tried centos 5, while mplayer works for files on centos 5,
I have not gotten it to work with "mplayer dvd://1" - it says:
MPlayer 1.0rc1-3.4.6 (C) 2000-2006 MPlayer Team
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+ (Family: 15, Model: 95, Stepping: 2)
Cannot test OS support for SSE, disabling to be safe.
CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 1 3DNow2: 1 SSE: 0 SSE2: 0
Compiled for x86 CPU with extensions: MMX MMX2 3DNow 3DNowEx SSE SSE2
Playing dvd://1.
File not found: '1'
Failed to open dvd://1.
Exiting... (End of file)
Has anyone gotten mplayer on centos 5 to play a dvd and what special
step did you do?
Install some other library or something???
my compile is:
./configure --disable-ivtv --enable-largefiles --target=athlon_xp
--cc="gcc34 -m32" --as="as -32" --with-extralibdir=/usr/lib; make; make
install
THanks,
Jerry
