[MPlayer-users] an url which plays with realplayer doesn't play with mplayer

Hello,
I am using the latest svn as of this writing, and am having trouble getting mplayer to play the following url:
rtsp://video.rootvision.net/xxc17.smil
realplayer will happily play this, but mplayer dies with the message `stream eof detected'.  
Any help is appreciated,
