Hello,

[System]

1. CPU : Dual Core Opteron x 2
2. Memory : 1GB x 4
3. OS : OpenSuSE 10.2 (2.6.18.8-0.5-default)
4. gcc : 4.1.2

[Problem]

./configure can't detect Win32 codecs.

I installed win32codes to /usr/lib/win32, but ./configure ends with;

[...]
Checking for LADSPA plugin support ... no
Checking for Win32 codecs ... no
Checking for XAnim codecs ... yes (using /usr/lib/codecs)
Checking for RealPlayer codecs ... yes (using /usr/lib/codecs)
[...]
Disabled optional drivers:
  Input: vstream radio smb
  Codecs: qtx win32 musepack toolame
  Audio output: sun openal polyp ivtv dxr2 nas
[...]

In fact,

masaru at linux:/work>  mplayer -v mms://a357.v90566.c9056.g.vm.akamaistream.net/5/357/9056/46aa714d/1a1a1ad74ec5f82d5bc9319cca39abd943b3e250b52c9f/20070728000011002_mh.wmv

show the messages as follows;

[...]
Requested video codec family [wmv9dmo] (vfm=dmo) not available.
Enable it at compilation.
Requested video codec family [wmvdmo] (vfm=dmo) not available.
Enable it at compilation.
Opening video decoder: [ffmpeg] FFmpeg's libavcodec codec family
Selected video codec: [ffwmv3] vfm: ffmpeg (FFmpeg M$ WMV3/WMV9)
[....]

I.E., I can see video without audio.

Why does ./configure ignore wmv9dmod.dll in the /usr/lib/win32?

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.
