[MPlayer-users] MOV demuxer question/feature request

Hi all,

I have a question/feature request to the MPlayer team:

In the ISO/IEC-14496-12 ISO Base media file format (section Annex A.8) 
there is a option, meant for embedded devices (particularly still 
cameras), that allows to store the movie in several fragments.

It seems that the MPlayer (the MOV demuxer, I think) does not support 
this part of the standard, so files created with some digital still 
cameras cannot be reproduced correctly (just the first fragment is 
reproduced, the rest of the stream is ignored). Is this part of the 
standard going to be implemented in MPlayer soon ?
