Thanks to you all vobcopy and even dvdbackup already does not work with this DVD. only the first 40 megas are ripped to the HDD. (40M/4G) I shall try dd and its variants and options as well as mplayer - ss - endpos as you have recommend it to me. once again thanks to you all who helps me Bayrouni
