[MPlayer-users] Mplayer Stream to *.wav

Hello,

I´d like to record a mplayer stream to *.wav or *.mp3 on harddisk like:

mplayer -ao pcm:file=/temp/%date%.wav http://xxxxxx.xxxx

Is it possible to limit the length of the file to e.g. 10 minutes and name the file by date_time.wav and then to create a new file with a continued stream?
