Hello, 
I just try dumpfile and play it, its the same black screen (sometimes with color squers).
But when i use FreeMe2 software with the same SID i can play file and its ok. Strange, becouse freeme2 developert says on doom9 forum (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=130055) , that freeme2 is implemented in mplayer svn :)
