Yes, that is a silly name.

Sorry, but I probably don't understand what your problems with this sample are:
You wrote "the audio PID not being detected correctly" - the sample plays fine
for me with both rc2 and current svn (video and audio).
(In case you don't like that the sample is interlaced: Try mplayer test.mpg -vf
yadif or mplayer test.mpg -vc ffmpeg12mc -vo xvmc:bobdeint)

Please explain again what doesn't work for you, Carl Eugen
