[MPlayer-users] -ss odd case

Gents,

Some time back a took a clip of my star wars 3 dvd.
I started at time sequenece 850 and ended at 950

So now when I tried to play the clip and I did "-ss 5" thinking
I was starting 10 seconds into my clip ----- no I start at the beginning.
Odd I thought...

Then I noticed the time sequence printing was at 850 - where my clip began.
So I said let me do "-ss 860" thinking that would work.

It did not, mplayer exists. I guess thinking the video is done. seeked 
past the end.

Something is not in sync there.
