I am trying to play an audio CD. I have compiled and used mplayer before.
When I first tried to play there was no cdparanoia package. I did yum install cdparanoia-devel.
I then re-configured and rebuilt mplayer.
Now when I run mplayer cdda:// it starts playing the CD BUT it only plays a small click then
stops than plays again then stops and this keeps happening. when it stops it is for about a second or 2.
I am running centos 5 on a laptop AMD 64 X2 turion.
What might be going on that the song keeps stopping for a couple seconds?
Jerry
