Every time I compile mplayer with external dvdread, I get

MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: open_stream
- MPlayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM.
Recompile MPlayer with --enable-debug and make a 'gdb' backtrace and
   disassembly. Details in
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports_what.html#bugreports_crash.
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We
can't and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a
possible bug.

But I cannot get on debugging from the remote shell here at work :)
Maybe later... I'll set up a pristine environment and try it again,
though I'd be interested if someone else has the same problems.

dvdread is 0.9.7 fresh from sourceforge (?), I have dvdcss lying around
(1.2.9) and libdvdnav2 from where Nico pointed me once, svn says its
from svn.mplayerhq.hu/dvdnav/trunk/libdvdnav2

gcc is 4.0.2, and all is done on an AMD64 machine in 64 bit mode.
