That is completely lossless. It's just lossless encoding of 4:2:0 data.

x264 also doesn't support RGB, HSV, LAB, XYZ, alpha, float, or bitdepth>8. 
If you have data in any of those formats, x264 can't deal with it at all, 
let alone losslessly.
