I tried dvdnav://1 thru 13.  They all gave me different scenes,
extras, previews, etc.  I could get to the movie that way, but none of
them gave me the scene selection or setup windows.  FYI, "j" and "#"
didn't do much for me either.  No subtitles at all and the audio
selection only gave me unknown.

~/.mplayer/config   has
# Write your default config options here!

fs=yes
vf=screenshot
subfont-text-scale=3

and I don't have the /usr/local/etc/mplayer/config file

cat: /usr/local/etc/mplayer/config: No such file or directory
