Oh, and I did forget: the moment you specify -af <something>, audio 
track change with the # key won't work anymore, as internally the 
channel number is set to zero (at least at the point where the channel 
is changed) and mplayer exits with an error. I fixed that by hardcoding 
6 channels into that very special place, but this is merely a hack, but 
noone else had any problems with it, so I don't know if there will be a 
fix for this anytime soon.
