Hello,

I'm seeing quite annoying artifacts in mplayer picture and because I could not
find answer for this problem with google, I decided to ask here.

Please take a look at this picture:
http://www.fotothing.com/photos/47a/47a73ae743112bc0d55712df23f9b406_c9a.jpg

It is a low quality picture taken by my phone from the screen of my Panasonic
AX-200E video projector. I used the freeze feature of the projector to make the
artifact visible. If I freeze the picture in mplayer, I can't see any
problems in the frozen
picture.

The video is XVID 640x272 12bpp 25fps.

These artifacts are seen usually when the whole picture is moving like in the
example the camera is slowly panning to right and the picture is filled
with the artifacts although you see only one in the example (in upper
corner of the picture).

I'm wondering is it xvid codec, mplayer, my graphics card or projector that
causes them?
