[MPlayer-users] little bug report: iso vs dvd: missing features (subtitles)

Hello,

I enjoy mplayer, and geexbox, its version "in a box".
However, i realized that mplayer handles differently DVD media
and ISO images of such media.

Here's the issue:
- When opening the ISO image of a DVD, no subtitle gets ever detected:
"mplayer -v *.iso" does not report anything related to subtitles.
- If i mount that image into a virtual drive, then "mplayer -v dvd://"
reports subtitles and i can watch them.

It's a shame, since given the huge capacity of hard drives,
it's very handly to bring ISO images of your DVDs there
and watch them with geexbox/mplayer !
