[MPlayer-users] OSD meter for contrast/hue/brightness/saturation broken

I just did a fresh install after a HDD crash and compiled 1.0-rc2 from souce.  I can't seem to remember what I had to do to get the OSD meter for contrast/hue/brightness/saturation to display when I use keys 1-8 to control these.  The timer works by hitting "o" twice.  Do I need to add a swtich for them at the ./configure step that I may have omitted?
