Quite so.

At risk of derailing the mplayer users list into an format war, I should 
point out that there's nothing I'd like better than to avoid having to pay 
the Microsoft tax for vista, but herein lies the biggest political issue 
Linux faces. There are too many types, too much disparity, too much elitism, 
but that's not the problem. The problem is that these issues are denied. You 
(and I, too) are experiencing this.

Screaming "there are no problems" does not cause there to be no problems.
