Hi All,

I am puzzled by the following messages by mplayer and hope someone can shed
light to it:

Matroska file format detected.
VIDEO:  [avc1]  960x528  24bpp  29.970 fps    0.0 kbps ( 0.0 kbyte/s)
==========================================================================
Opening video decoder: [ffmpeg] FFmpeg's libavcodec codec family
Selected video codec: [ffh264] vfm: ffmpeg (FFmpeg H.264)
==========================================================================
==========================================================================
Opening audio decoder: [ffmpeg] FFmpeg/libavcodec audio decoders
AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 2 ch, s16le, 0.0 kbit/0.00% (ratio: 0->192000)
Selected audio codec: [ffvorbis] afm: ffmpeg (FFmpeg Vorbis decoder)
==========================================================================
AO: [alsa] 48000Hz 2ch s16le (2 bytes per sample)
Starting playback...
[h264 @ 0xb3d920]brainfart cropping not supported, this could look slightly
wrong ...
VDec: vo config request - 960 x 532 (preferred colorspace: Planar YV12)
VDec: using Planar YV12 as output csp (no 0)
Movie-Aspect is 1.82:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.
VO: [null] 960x532 => 968x532 Planar YV12

So at first look mplayer finds the (correct) resolution of 960x528, but then
prints this config request line (note I do not have a config file) talking
about the resolution of 960 x 532. Scaling that to 968x532 is really a
brainfart I agree. So how can I prevent this from happening?

The video is the result of an mencoder encoding from a 1920x1080 source which
was cropped with 1920:1056:0:8 and scaled down to 960x528. So I know that
the correct resolution is 960x528.

Thanks,
Matyas
