On my Core2/x86-64, ICC 10.1 makes MPlayer decode H.264 consistently
5% faster than GCC 4.1.3

I didn't test other codecs, but I'm guessing it should also be faster.

Note that on my machine, 10.0.26 isn't supported since that version
doesn't support -dumpmachine, which is used by configure script.
