[MPlayer-users] libconfhelper-perl still required?

Hi,

 I am installing the current svn mplayer on Hardy Heron (alpha 4)
using the Debian installer. The final install of the debian package
will not run unless libconfhelper-perl is installed.

 This is actually an orphaned package that was discussed with the
mplayer team before:

 I am a little puzzled as to why the package still insists on this
requirement? I am fully aware that I am on fairly weak ground using an
alpha operating system :-)
