[MPlayer-users] h264 support?

Hi,

I'm trying to view 1920x1080 movies in H264 format produced by my new 
Sanyo-HD1000 camcorder. The viewing mostly works except the video/sound 
are desync'ed and theses messages appear at the console:

[h264 @ 0x8926e50]AVC: Consumed only 29958 bytes instead of 29972
[h264 @ 0x8926e50]AVC: nal size 0
[h264 @ 0x8926e50]AVC: Consumed only 17869 bytes instead of 17884
[h264 @ 0x8926e50]AVC: nal size 0
[h264 @ 0x8926e50]AVC: Consumed only 29253 bytes instead of 29268

The mplayer version is debian unstables's 1:1.0.rc2svn20071207-0.2

How can I get proper playback for these video files? Is h264 still a 
work-in-progress?
