[MPlayer-users] How to make mplayer execute a command or use different options when each time mplayer play next item in playlist?

Hi forks,
I want to make mplayer show current playing file name
when each time mplayer play next item in playlist.
Currently i use a script to execute a command with named pipe file (-input
file).
This command echo 'osd_show_property_text "${filename}" 4000 1' into named
pipe file.
But it will only works when first time play a movie,
it does not work when playing next item in playlist.
And i want mplayer load different subtitle with custom file naming rule
subtitles
when mplayer play next item each time.
Does there have any way to accomplish this function?
