[MPlayer-users] mplayer video suddenly gone

Ach, NOW I get what you mean.  Ok, I tried:
    mplayer -vo x11 drumhead.avi
    mplayer -vo gl drumhead.avi
    mplayer -vo gl2 drumhead.avi
    mplayer -vo sdl drumhead.avi
    mplayer -vo vidix drumhead.avi

And all responded the same - no video.  I'm now suspecting maybe it's
something to do with ffmpeg or libavcodec, xvid, et al.  What do you
think? How should I proceed?
