[MPlayer-users] MythTV and Linux Video BoF Sessions announced for Linux World SF and O’Reilly OSCON

Cross posting this here as it would be great to get some MPlayer and FFMPEG
Devs along to these sessions.

OpenMedia are pleased to announce that they have had the go ahead to
organise two Birds Of a Feather sessions at the upcoming O’Reilly OSCON
and Linux World San Francisco conferences.

The current plan for these sessions is to have between 3 and 5 short
presentations on MythTV or Video on Linux related subjects, and then a
chance for some ad-hoc discussions. Suitable topics for presentation could
include -
    * MythTV
    * MPlayer
    * FFMPEG
    * VLC
    * DVB Drivers
    * V4L Drivers
    * Linux based media devices with open access
    * Google SOC video related projects and progress

If you are interested in attending or presenting at either of these
sessions catch Steve on the MythTV Users mailing list or email
bof at openmedia.co.nz.

Currently the allocated session times are as follows.

OSCON - MythTV and Video on Linux BOF
7:30pm - 8:30pm Wednesday, July 23rd 2008 - Room D135

Linux World San Francisco - MythTV and Video BOF
6:00pm - 7:00pm Tuesday, August 5th 2008 - Room 302
