[MPlayer-users] Can't obtain mp2 Joint Stereo with mencoder

Hi!

I am trying out the following cmd:

mencoder.exe -oac lavc -srate 44100 -af lavcresample=44100
-lavcopts acodec=mp2:abitrate=128 -ovc x264 -x264encopts
bitrate=1000 -o sample.avi sample.vob

However by default it gives true stereo i.e. 128 kbps for left
channel and 128 kbps for right channel. What option do I need to
put in to obtain joint stereo? So that I get 128 kbps for left
and right combined
