[MPlayer-users] A question about patented codecs

I saw cook.so, drvc.so, sipr.so, tokf.so and tokr.so are included in mphq's
codec package. Were these files copied from realplayer for Linux or totally
rewritten? Do you mean they can be considered free? Can I re-distrubte them?
