[MPlayer-users] How to disable or hide mplayer logo & file upload status before video starts to play?

Hello.
I am running mplayer inside the Mozilla browser using the plugin.
Does anybody know how to hide the screen with the mplayer logo and
file uploading status before the video starts playing? A black frame
instead would be great.
Is there a setting in Firefox or in Mplayer?
