[MPlayer-users] Is it possible to embed mplayer in another application?

Embedding in Java have been discussed sometime ago in 
http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-cygwin/2005-September/002287.html

I am also thinking similar thing but haven't tried it yet.
