No, it was opposite for me.
I have trouble with "-demuxer lavf" (excessive frame drop at the end,
and "your hardware is too slow") and no trouble at all with "-demuxer mov".

Then I've remuxed it again with MP4Box by "MP4Box -add video.mp4 -new
test.mp4" and it plays flawlessly (at sight) but with some audio EOF
near the end (like with original one).

So maybe you have too old realase...
