[MPlayer-users] what is the best way to integrate mplayer into application?

Hello all,

I want to know what is the best way to have mplayer as a back end lib for a
platform independent application, what am looking for is the best way of
deployment. should I use the already packed packages for windows, linux, and
mac os x or should I compile the source??
