[MPlayer-users] Hiro Codec

Has anyone got a clue on playing video encoded with hiro? Preferably
without the ads, but hey- as long as it plays I don't really care at
this point...

It appears to be a broken version of xvid. I could supply more info if
needed, and IF I get the time (which is in very short supply) I may be
able to help with the development but I don't have any experience in
this type of coding (multimedia) (but I'd be quick to learn).

So what would it take to do it?
