[MPlayer-users] maintain audio stream capture

Hi

I wrote a script that captures an audio stream for 3 hours.  
Occasionally the stream stops, however, even though there is plenty of  
bandwidth to use.

Is there anything I can do in my stream capture to maintain a  
consistent stream? Here is the command I am using:

mplayer -quiet -playlist http://media.kcrw.com/live/kcrwlive.pls -ao  
pcm:file=$FIFO -vc dummy -vo null -ac ffmp3

Would including a large cache size help?

working consistently for a couple hours:
