Direct support for non-Xss screensavers has been dropped quite
a while ago and -stop-xscreensaver stops only the Xss ones now.
If you want to stop a non-Xss screensaver, you have to use
-heartbeat-cmd, which even has examples for xscreensaver and
gnome-screensaver in the manpage.
