Thank you very much for your reply.

To answer your questions, I use linux, and the files were ~ 150Mb. But this 
was not the problem.


When I listen to the live feed, the feed will still drop every few hours, 
which is ok: I can restart easily straight away.
The error is like:

As to downloading archived feeds, this is solved in two ways:

1) the first thing is that the coverage of the whole day is saved in two 
archived files. However cspan only listed the first one. On the third day, I 
noticed the file naming convention, and easily deducted the address of the 
second file.

2) Even so, I had trouble downloading the whole file: the stream would get 
interupted as indicated in my first email.
After some more searching, I found that adding the option -demuxer 21 was 
solving that problem.
