No. I've posted my full mplayer command for this.

Maybe it's live555 which I compiled itself and included during mplayer 
compilation - I try mplayer with "-v" to see if live555 is used in this 
case:

Hm... I don't see anything that indicate in my little knowledge that 
live555 is used there - dunno why it's plaing well for me.
