yv12 is 1/4 subsampled chroma.  It's not hard to imagine that is the
problem.  

And you should ALWAYS use video dimentions that are multiples of 16.

In any case, uploading a short sample to
ftp://upload.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/incoming would allow someone else to
take a look, and much more quickly give a definitive answer, rather than
trying to watch a video by proxy.
