[MPlayer-users] Fwd: Videofile info without playing

Hello!

I want to determine the resolution of video file without playing it.
"file" util works not for every file (as far as I understand it
depends on encoder)
When playing the videofile, mplayer shows the information (and
resolution too) and then starts playing file.
Can I achieve this information without playing?
