No, neither work.
Mplayer is unable to demux the stream, either directly from DVB or file.
But dumping video and audio separately work. The following also works:

mplayer dvb://<HD channel name> -dumpvideo

And same with -dumpaudio. But with these I can't get both video and sound at
the same time.
What I don't understand is how can it dump the video if it can't demux? And
maybe how to fix it?
